Thirty years of brotherhood, one tee at a time.
Honoring RaShaan R. Willis — on the fairways, in our hearts.
Three days of championship golf along the Alabama Gulf Coast. Staying together at the Caribe Resort — 3 and 4 bedroom condos with room for the whole crew. Brotherhood. Competition. Memory.
'Circumstances may thrust us into life situations that require strength to see them through. Drawing from that inner-strength reservoir, even when we don't think we have the strength, will empower us to overcome those obstacles.'
— Marita A. Willis, RaShaan's mother
RaShaan Willis was 16 years old — a junior at St. Xavier High School in Louisville, Kentucky — when he was taken far too soon. He was the kind of young man whose presence filled a room and whose absence never fully leaves the people who loved him. He was a son, a brother, and a friend who deserved a full life.
This outing exists because a group of his closest friends refused to let time erase him. Every October, they come back. They tee it up, they tell stories, they laugh, they remember — and they make sure RaShaan's name is spoken out loud. For thirty years, they have kept that promise.
Behind this outing stands a family of extraordinary grace. Robert and Marita Willis raised RaShaan and his sister Ra'Tonya in Louisville with love, intention, and strength. They have endured losses that most people cannot imagine, and they have met those losses with a dignity that commands respect.
RaShaan's father. Bob has joined this brotherhood every year since the beginning. His presence on the course is a reminder of why we gather — and a testament to the kind of man his son was raised by. To many in this group, Bob is not just RaShaan's father. He is a father to all of them.
RaShaan's mother. A community leader, philanthropist, and woman of remarkable strength. Marita has spent her career empowering others — in banking, nonprofit leadership, and community development. Her son's spirit lives in the work she continues to do every day. She serves as Chief Empowerment Officer at Hope Collaborative Inc.

Spacious, fully-equipped condos on the Gulf — private balconies, full kitchens, and enough room for the crew to gather after every round. The Caribe is the kind of place where the memories happen between the holes.
